Our ‘Verrée Vaudoise’ blends heritage, history and winegrowing
After your guided tour of the castle, head to one of the great halls to taste our white and red ‘Clos de Chillon’ wines, paired with locally produced savoury snacks known as ‘flûtes’.

- Cafeteria: our cafeteria with food and drink vending machines can be accessed at any time.
- Beach and gardens: picnics are welcome in the garden or on the beach. The beach has toilets and showers.
- Water fountain: available in the first courtyard.
- In the event of rain, we recommend you take picnics to Montreux covered market.
- Picnics are not permitted on castle grounds to ensure visitors can move around as freely as possible.
Teachers are responsible for their pupils and must remain with them at all times.
We ask that you:
- Leave rucksacks in the cloakroom in the cafeteria
- Stay together: children should not be left on their own
- Respect other visitors by keeping noise to a minimum (no shouting or loud phones)
- Use the bins provided
